For many people, the city of Las Vegas bears numerous identities. Apart from being known as “Sin City”, it is a place which a good number of patrons consider as the ultimate adult playground where gambling, alcohol and now recreational marijuana is readily available.
But behind the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas are some of the worst casinos that this city also has to offer. In this article, we look at five casinos that had gotten the worst reviews from its most loyal customers.
The Eureka Casino Resort
While Eureka Casino Resort is said to be a favorite among Las Vegas locals who do not want to rub elbows with a huge flock of tourists, it is apparently not an ideal destination for casino-goers in general. Apart from it being limited to slot machine games, there have been complaints that the place is exaggeratedly smoky from cigarettes that have been collectively lit.
Siegel Slots and Suites
Tripadvisor users have deemed this casino as the “Motel From Hell”, mainly for its apparent crime-ridden location, as well as the presence of bed bugs. Add to that the very basic set of amenities that the hotel has to offer, which had turned off many would-be customers. The only redeeming factor is its cheap rooms priced at $29/per night, which is a likely testament to what they have in store for customers.
The Flamingo Casino
This casino has been known as a pop culture icon, specifically for when the famed Rat Pack was its regular guest. But the Flamingo Casino stopped evolving according to patrons who claim that the hotel remained in its same state as the Rat Pack days. Some patrons even complained that they had to call on the city’s fire department, just to get them out from the elevators.
Excalibur Hotel & Casino
This is another Las Vegas destination that received poor reviews from customers. For one, there have been complaints from patrons losing money or having them stolen while in the casino. Others were simply unamused by how the place can get “noisy” and “unethical” at times, along with what they deemed to be poor service.
Tropicana Las Vegas
Some of the people who have stayed in this casino have complained that the entire place supposedly reeked of stale alcohol and cigarette smoke. Others, meanwhile, were not fond of how they were given the wrong room keys on occasion. To make matters worse for Tropicana Las Vegas, there have also been complaints that the hotel had no Wi-Fi service, which is usually prevalent in third-word countries.
These reviews may vary from person to person, which means you will need to take them in with a grain of salt. In any case, these are just some pointers to remember when you do decide to plan your next Las Vegas gambling trip.
